BCT-100 This version is not upgradeable. Auto Meter will allow a $75.00 discount to anyone who has this unit and would like to purchase the new BCT-200J version. Auto Meter will issue a RMA # and when it is received, we will send a voucher worth $75.00 that can be used at any Auto Meter test equipment distributor against the purchase of a BCT-200J. BCT-200 Depending on the version, this unit is either upgradeable by sending the unit to Auto Meter or purchasing the Auto Meter upgrade kit. To make that determination, turn on the unit and enter "Y" for menu. Scroll to "OTHER" and press "Y." Select "About" and press "Y." If the version is less than 3.00 then the unit will need to be sent to Auto Meter. If the version is 3.00 and higher, then the unit can be upgraded by ordering an upgrade kit, model UD-13. BCT-200J All versions of the BCT-200J are upgradeable by ordering an upgrade kit model UD-13. Sending The Unit In For Upgrade Please call 801-785-0052 and get a RMA# assigned to your upgrade. Please be prepared to pay by credit card. Your card will not be charged until the upgrade has been done and the unit has been shipped. The cost for a factory upgrade is $140.00 plus shipping. Upgrade Kit, Model UD-13 You will need to determine if the download receptacle on the BCT tester is a RCA or a Minidin. Call Auto Meter at 866-883-8378. You will request to purchase a UD-13 upgrade kit. The price for the upgrade is $49.99. This includes the upgrade cable, a CD and instructions. The program on the CD will need to be loaded onto a PC and then downloaded to the tester via the supplied cable. Restrictions Auto Meter offers the UD-13 upgrade kit for its customers for the sole purpose of upgrading only one unit. By purchasing this upgrade, the purchaser agrees not use this firmware to upgrade more than one unit or sell or pass on to other potential users for multiple upgrades of Auto Meter test equipment.         Contact
