I have been told that I should have my variable load carbon pile tester calibrated on a regular basis. Is this true?
Variable load carbon pile testers do need calibration on a regular basis. Auto Meter recommends calibration on an annual basis. Analog meters are more susceptible than digital of falling out of specs. Make a comparison with a known good digital multi-meter.
